GULL ROCK reared in the stalls after the start was effected dislodging Jockey Khumalo and bolted the course. Trainer Crawford will be advised that GULL ROCK's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he may not race until he is passed tractable on a race day with company. There was a slight delay to the start of this race in order to move the mobile camera away from the inside running rail at the request of the jockeys. The Stipendiary Stewards reviewed the start with regard to GULL ROCK in stall gate 1. This gelding reared and dislodged Jockey Khumalo shortly after the start was effected. WATERWAYS was held up for a number of strides at the 400m. Thereafter Jockey Puller, the rider of WATERWAYS, dropped his crop at the 250m. In view of the performance from NATURAL BEAUTY, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly and submit a report. CAPTAIN'S CASTLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: NATURAL BEAUTY - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
