MR WINSOME jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. The starting times of Races 1 & 2 were rescheduled at the request of Phumelela. Rain fell prior to the start of the Race. Jockey Morgenrood reported that TOP OF THE ROCK coughed post race. In view of the performance from SEATTLE WARRIOR, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding and submit a report. BRAAISTIN changed stride, shifted out, and made contact with TOP OF THE ROCK approaching the 400m. ELYSIAN PARK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SEATTLE WARRIOR - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. TOP OF THE ROCK - Epistaxis and was suspended for a period of 90 days. PALADIN - returned with an overreach wound on the left fore.
