NOTORIOUS, BANKERS BLUES and GYPSY'S INN were slow into stride. The saddle on BANKERS BLUE (unplaced) slipped at approximately the 500 metre mark and the lead bag became dislodged and fell. As a result of this an Objection was lodged by the Clerk of Scales in that Jockey Mansour weighed out at 60kg and weighed back in at 55.7kg, a weight differential of 4.3kg. After hearing the evidence, the Objection Board upheld the Objection and BANKERS BLUES was disqualified from the said race. PENSTOCK had to ease for a number of strides at the 200m when awkwardly placed on the outside of FELIX M. RED SAVAGE was bumped outwards in the concluding stages by CAYMEN SUNSET, which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. CAYMEN SUNSET was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PENSTOCK raced in the Colours of Sean Tarry Racing C.C. [Nom: Mr S G Tarry] & Mr S Mathen): Yellow, Fuchsia Stripe, Halved Sleeves, Yellow Cap Vet: CAYMEN SUNSET - synchronous diaphragmatic flutter. Scratched: BANKERS BLUES - disqualified in terms of an objection. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
