CALL ON ME was slow into stride. SHEIK'S DIAMOND was carried in, in the concluding stages by JIN-GO-LO-BA, which shifted in marginally and was immediately straightened. Trainer Zaki, Trainer of third place horse, SHEIK'S DIAMOND, lodged an Objection against second placed horse, JIN-GO-LO-BA, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and reviewing the patrol films of the incident, was of the opinion that SHEIK'S DIAMOND would not have beaten JIN-GO-LO-BA and therefore overruled the objection and allowed the Judges result to stand. Trainer Zaki's deposit was refunded. NIGHT MOVES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CALL ON ME raced with a tongue tie on.
