OUR DESTINY was fractious loading and fractious in the stalls, taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and was then reloaded causing a delay. OUR DESTINY was fractious in the stalls when reloaded, reared and fell over backwards, and was withdrawn for being intractable. Trainer Kotzen will be advised that this filly' starting stall certificate has been withdrawn until she is repassed with company on a race day. TUMBLES was fractious, and reared, in the stalls, was taken out examined by the Veterinary Surgeon declared fit to race and was reloaded causing a delay. Trainer Marcus will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and until she is repassed with company on a race day. BAQUEIRA was slow, losing six lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Ramsden will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. Jockey Neisius reported that ENLIGHTENMENT coughed in running. BAQUEIRA raced green. In view of the performance from BAQUEIRA, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. Apprentice van der Hoven reported that he felt something amiss with SHARP PEG in running. STAR ACADEMY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BAQUERIA - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. SHARP PEG - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. TUMBLES - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. ENLIGHTENMENT - returned coughing. OUR DESTINY - returned with multiple wounds on the right hind and was lame behind. MIXED EMOTIONS - was kicked at the start and returned with a wound on the left hip and lame left hind. Scratched: MIXED EMOTIONS - reared, fell over and was injured in starting gates, withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start. OUR DESTINY - intractable at the start, withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start.
