The starting time of this Race was rescheduled to accommodate racing in Kwa-Zulu Natal. In view of the performance from CHIEF PILOT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding and submit a report. In view of the performance from CELTIC REVIVAL, which raced with its tongue over the bit, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. Jockey van Niekerk was unable to restrain GLIDER, raced well clear of the field and compounded from the 300m. MAMBO SQUARE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CHIEF PILOT and CELTIC REVIVAL - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
