JAM TART (AUS) and MAKE THE MAGNET were restless in the stalls. VAN DAM'S FORCE, which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. FLYING PEG jumped inwards. Jockey Khathi, the rider of SEA GLASS, was charged with a contravention in that he saluted in a celebratory gesture prior to the finish line. Jockey Khathi signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. In view of the performances from JAM TART (AUS), HELEN'S BAY, and FLYING PEG, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses and submit a report. In view of the performance from SHAKARA, which trailed the field, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. JAM TART (AUS) switched out sharply approaching the 300m to avoid the heels of JAZZ CLUB. SEA GLASS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey du Plooy rode HELEN'S BAY. The Club's Medical Officer stood down Jockey Behr on medical grounds until 21 July 2015. Vet: JAM TART (AUS), SHAKARA, HELEN'S BAY and FLYING PEG - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. MAKE THE MAGNET - returned having the cast the left fore shoe. VAN DAM'S FORCE - returned not striding behind. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
