BRAD'S SURGE was stubborn loading. Apprentice Zackey reported that KEAGAN'S JET made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. In view of the performance of TRIP TO RIO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Lerena signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he rode the horse AMERICAN TIGER in an unprofessional manner by dropping his crop approaching the 50m. GUY FROM DUBAI shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. Jockey Simons changed his crop into his left hand and had his crop momentarily struck from his grasp by the Jockey Maujean the rider of ROMAN CARNIVAL.
