The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the respective parties, took into account the distance between EXULTANT and CLOCK STOPPER and the severity of the interference suffered, furthermore the Board was of the opinion that the result would not have been affected by this incident, overruled the Objection and allowed the Judges result to stand. The Board advised Mr Ndlovu that this was a frivolous Objection and severely reprimanded him. He was further advised against lodging objections that had no prospect of success and would not have the luxury of his deposit being refunded under similar circumstances in future. Workrider Mosia was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of CLOCK STOPPER, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to EXULTANT when he shifted out at the 250m. Workrider Mosia signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in One Workrider race. CATTITUDE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
