ROCKING DONNA was restless in the stalls. LOVE TO DANCE and NATURAL TAN were slow away and lost 2 lengths each. In view of the performance of ROCKING DONNA and VINTAGE WINE, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. NATURAL TAN, which raced green and was hanging in from the 400 metre mark, shifted in at the 200 metre mark and carried BLUE DAWN and VINTAGE WINE inwards. Jockey Yeni reported that AIR BELLE was not striding out freely in the running. ROCKABELLA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ROCKING DONNA raced in Club Colours. VINTAGE WINE raced without steel shoes and with alumites. Vet: AIR BELLE - lame right fore. ROCKING DONNA - cast right fore shoe and lame left fore. LOVE TO DANCE - cast left fore shoe and post race distress syndrome. VINTAGE WINE - lame left fore. Scratched: SANCTUARY - off feed.
