The start of this race was delayed due to the request of the Operator. TEASE THE WIND and AUTUMN ENCORE broke through the front gates, immediately restrained by their riders, returned to the start, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded, causing a further delay to the start. Trainer Miller was advised to re-school AUTUMN ENCORE prior to its next engagement. BUG'S BUNNY was stubborn to load. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn until recertified tractable. Jockey Chambers, the rider of DUKE FLIES, appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts out to the end of the race. In view of the performance of EAGLE'S CALL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer Miller was requested to report back on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. TEASE THE WIND was brushed on a number of occasions between the 350m and the 200m by ROCKET FALLS, which was hanging in, in the straight. SEVENTH LUTE was hanging in from the 200m. BUG'S BUNNY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TEASE THE WIND raced equipped with cheek pieces. RIO AZUL raced with a tongue tie on. JAMAICANMINALOUSHE raced with Club Colours with the Stewards permission. Vet: EAGLE'S CALL - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. JUNGLE GEORGE - lame right front.
