The start of this Race was delayed due to CHECKERED FLAG and LADY LINDA dislodging their riders and cantering 400 metres to the start, were taken in hand, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and declared fit to race. AVENTURINE was restless in the stalls, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was reloaded. CHECKERED FLAG, AVENTURINE, MADAME LE ROI, SWISS NOTE and TOLL FREE lost one length. MONEY PENNY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Drier was questioned with regard to the improved performance of MONEY PENNY, the winner, compared to this filly's previous performance on the 15 July 2015 at Scottsville Racecourse. Mr Drier could offer no explanation and his attention was drawn to the rules pertaining to in and out running. HATTON GARDEN, CHINESE WHISPER, AVENTURINE and TOLL FREE raced green. Jockey Yeni reported that DIVA DANCE was blowing heavily post race. Jockey Lerena reported that the saddle on OPEN YOUR HEART slipped backwards shortly after the start was effected. In view of the Starter's report concerning AVENTURINE, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until re-passed tractable with a companion. Apprentice Habib signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that, as the rider of CHINESE WHISPER, he failed to ensure that when riding in this race over a straight course that he kept straight, parallel to the running rail and relative to his drawn position until a point not less than 200 metres from the start as indicated by the marker. Apprentice Ngwane signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention, in that as the rider of MAGIC HOUR, he failed to ensure that when riding in this race over a straight course that he kept straight, parallel to the running rail and relative to his drawn position until a point not less than 200 metres from the start as indicated by the marker. LADY LINDA raced with Club Colours. Vet: DIVA DANCE - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: JOLLERIE - acute skin disease. REIGNING WAVE - heat left fore knee.
