KATIE OF CAMBRIDGE and FINDING NEVERLAND were both slow into stride. GREATSTAROFAFRICA, SHIKRA and JET FOR JOY all lost 1 length. ETHYLENE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Robinson was questioned regarding the improved performance of ETHYLENE the winner, compared to this mare's previous run on the 11.8.2015. He explained that on that occasion this mare had suffered interference and in his opinion this had accounted for her poor performance. The Board has adjourned to review the patrol video of ETHYLENE's previous run on the 11.8.2015. KATIE OF CAMBRIDGE took no interest in running. Due to the performance of FINDING NEVERLAND, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Vet: FINDING NEVERLAND and KATIE OF CAMBRIDGE - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: IVANOVICH - sold without engagement. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
