The start of this Race was delayed due to GOLDEN MAN dislodging the rider en route to the start and bolting. GOLDEN MAN was taken in hand, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reunited with Jockey Strydom. Thereafter GOLDEN MAN proved to be intractable and was subsequently withdrawn by the Stipendiary Board. In view of the report with regard to GOLDEN MAN, this gelding is suspended until such time that it has been passed tractable cantering to the start on a race day. SEA OF GREEN GRASS cast its right front shoe. CAPTAIN NEV was difficult to settle in the early stages and compounded in the straight. REGAL FORCE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: GOLDEN MAN - intractable. DE LUJO - insufficient recovery time. DUTCH HARBOR - ineligible, winner 23 August 2015.
