FELINA was fractious in the stalls, jumped awkwardly outwards losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Marshall will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. INANNA, which was fractious, got its head over the side of the starting stall, which had to be rectified. Trainer Bass will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. MORETHANTHAT (AUS) was fractious in the stalls. Trainer Snaith will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. MOONLIGHT 'N ROSES was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. BRILLIANT IDEA shifted in away from the crop at the 150m and crossed GARDEN TEA PARTY. Thereafter BRILLIANT IDEA continued to shift in, which resulted in BRIDGET DUBOIS being forced to ease off the heels of BRILLIANT IDEA approaching the 50m. Jockey du Plooy, the rider of BRILLIANT IDEA, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to other runners when he shifted in the latter stages. Jockey du Plooy signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. FELINA was forced to ease when brushed by MOONLIGHT 'N ROSES at the 350m, and thereafter was awkwardly placed on the heels of MOONLIGHT 'N ROSES, which was carried in slightly by KRYPTONITE. KRYPTONITE became severely cramped for galloping room approaching the 50m and was forced to ease when MOONLIGHT 'N ROSES shifted outwards. Jockey van Niekerk, the rider of MOONLIGHT 'N ROSES, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference when he shifted out in the latter stages. Jockey van Niekerk signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. MOONLIGHT 'N ROSES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
