JEWELLER'S JOY and CAROUSEL SWING were slow losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride. EVOKE EMOTION was reluctant to load and was fractious in the stalls. Trainer Snaith will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. In view of the performance from CAROUSEL SWING, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. The saddle on SEA CAT, which pulled hard in the early stages, slipped forward approaching the 1300m, which resulted in Apprentice May being unable to assist his mount thereafter. HARVARD CRIMSON and BE FABULOUS were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CAROUSEL SWING - was inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. EVOKE EMOTION - returned with a cut in the mouth.
