STUDY THE STARS jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with NEALA. NATATELA jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. The axle on the main bank of 14 stalls broke shortly after the running of Race 3, which resulted in only one bank of 8 starting stalls being available for the remainder of the day. As a result of this a meeting was held with all the Racing representatives and in terms of Local Condition 4.8 it was agreed to continue racing on the basis of using the NRB elimination procedure (Local Condition 7.4) in order to determine the maximum of 8 runners per race. In view of the performance from NATATELA, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. NATATELA was hanging out from the 400m. MISS LINK was hanging out from the 200m. GEORGEOUS GABY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: NATATELA - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: CAMARA'S PARK - voluntarily by Trainer Neuland. EMBLEM'S STAR and HILLARY - using Racing Operator's elimination procedure.
