KRAMBAMBULI cast the left fore shoe on the way to the start, which the farrier replaced, causing a delay. INTANDOKAZI (AUS) jumped awkwardly losing one length. QUID RIDES was slow into stride. INTANDOKAZI (AUS) clipped the heels of QUID RIDES approaching the 1200m, which was tightened for galloping room on the inside of WAITING FOR RAIN. The bit on WAITING FOR RAIN had pulled through this colt's mouth shortly after the start and as a result had raced awkwardly and was difficult to assist. SHEER TROUBLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LINE BREAK raced fitted with alumite bar shoes in front and alumites behind. RIVER GOD and INTANDOKAZI (AUS) raced fitted with a tongue tie. TAIWAN TREASURE raced without a tongue tie. Jockey Andrews rode INTANDOKAZI (AUS). The Club's Medical Officer stood down Jockey Schlechter on medical grounds until 10th September 2015, pending a Doctor's clearance. Vet: WAITING FOR RAIN - returned with a mouth injury. RIVER GOD - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
