YOUNG ANTWUN was slow to jump losing half a length. The start of this race was delayed due to the parachutists landing late on the racecourse. Apprentice Murray, the rider of PEGWELL BAY, shifted outwards at approximately the 180 metre mark causing interference to PICALLILY who in turn had to check and switch inwards for a run. Apprentice Murray signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that whilst riding PEGWELL BAY, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference, bunching, intimidation and/or constitute a source of interference or danger. He was suspended for 7 days. Jockey Manxusa reported that YOUNG ANTWUN was changing legs throughout. APPROVAL RATING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: YOUNG ANTWUN - examined post-race, Bilateral epistaxis and was suspended for 90 days. Scratched: SUPER TROUPER - lame left front. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
