PEGASI was fractious in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Marcus will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. PURPLE ROCK jumped awkwardly outwards losing three lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Hodgson will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. FRENCH CAPTAIN jumped awkwardly outwards losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Cheyne reported that DOWNTON ABBEY did not stride out freely in running. FRENCH CAPTAIN was held up for a run between the 200m and 100m. EXPLORACY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FRENCH CAPTAIN raced fitted with alumites on the front and alumite bar shoes behind. PURPLE ROCK is a gelding. This report will be investigated. Vet: PEGASI - Epistaxis and is suspended for a period of 90 days. DOWNTON ABBEY - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: ORION QUEST - lame left hind. RAVISHING LAD - Urticaria. CARDINAL CALL - not eating up.
