FLYING LOOT (AUS) jumped awkwardly losing one length. RASTA'S JET lost one length. CLEAR SAILING and MISS VARLICIOUS were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Miller was questioned with regard to the improved performance of CLEAR SAILING, the winner, compared to this mare's previous performance on the 29 July 2015. Mr Miller explained that in this mare's previous run, she had returned from a lay-off, over-raced to the front and compounded over the 1200 metre distance. The Board noted Mr Miller's explanation. FIERY GODDESS was hanging in over the final 700 metres. DON'T MENTION IT became cramped on the inside of BLACK VELVET approaching the 200 metre mark and thereafter was switched out to obtain a clear run. Vet: CLEAR SAILING - Epistaxis, 90 days suspension.
