THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ALPINE DIAMOND and WINTER MIRACLE lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Leaving the starting stalls, ALPINE DIAMOND which was slow away, was carried out by MOON GIRL, which jumped outwards. Thereafter, MOON GIRL commenced to hang out throughout. c) Jockey M Michel (MOON GIRL) reported that the bit slipped through this filly's mouth in the early stages. d) Trainer P M Gadsby was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1., in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse ALPINE DIAMOND. Trainer P M Gadsby signed an Admission of Guilt and was issued with a warning. e) SMART CHOICE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
