JUDD'S JOY was slow into stride. VOICES OF KINGS was slow into stride and lost 2 lengths. Permission was granted for GRAND LODGE and JAY RADICAL (AUS) to be led to the start with lead horses. JUDD'S JOY shifted outwards approaching the 300 metre mark, simultaneously DOGMATISM shifted inwards into a closing gap, as a result DOGMATISM and JUDD'S JOY made contact and JUDD'S JOY was forced to ease. The Trainer of JUDD'S JOY placed 3rd called for a race review into this incident and after reviewing the patrol film, the Board took no further action. VOICES OF KINGS and AGE OF AQUARIUS were baulked for a clear run between the 200 and 100 metre marks. PARADISE COVE was hanging inwards over the final 350 metres. Jockey Andrews reported that he felt something amiss with TAJ AMIR in the running. Apprentice Mxothwa signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he did not wear a body protector of the type approved by the Chief Executive. FREDERICK FOX raced in Club Colours. FREDERICK FOX was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Course Farrier on duty reported that the shoes of all the runners engaged at today's race meeting were checked and confirmed with the rules. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
