CRYPTIC CLUE and REVELATION were restless in the stalls. CASHIN jumped outwards leaving the stalls. TEAGAN'S BOY lost 1 length. TEAGAN'S BOY was carried out shortly after the start by CASHIN, which jumped outwards. Jockey Sturgeon reported that MISTER POTTER changed stride continually in running. In view of the performance from STEBBINS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. SANDS OF TIME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MISTER POTTER - not striding out left hind. CRYPTIC CLUE - speedy cut right front. STEBBINS - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: BORDER HOPPER - coughing. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, except for TOTEM BEAT (Race 4), which was identified by means of its microchip number. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for breathalyser tests and the taking of urine samples for analysis.
