CONNAUGHT HOTEL was slow into stride. SCHILLACI was carried in, in the concluding stages by BAYLISIANA, which shifted in away from the crop and was immediately straightened. Jockey Sturgeon, the rider of the second placed horse, SCHILLACI, lodged an Objection against the winner, BAYLISIANA, on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the concluding stages. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and reviewing the patrol films of the incident, was of the opinion that SCHILLACI would not have finished in front of BAYLISIANA and therefore overruled the objection and allowed the Judges result to stand. Jockey Sturgeons deport was refunded. BAYLISIANA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WONT WAIT raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: CORAL FEVER - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: EDGBASTON - lame right hind.
