VALDE VELOX was slow losing two lengths, and thereafter was slow into stride. CAPE REBEL was brushed outwards by THREE BALLOONS, which shifted outwards at about the 350m. THREE BALLOONS was tightened for galloping room in the concluding stages. The connections of THREE BALLOONS called for a race review and after reviewing the video evidence from the various angles decided to take no further action. OUR ICON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: COUNT MY LUCK - insufficient recovery time. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
