SAARIKH (ARG) was stubborn to load and lost 1 length. Assistant Trainer Kotzen to be advised to re-school this colt. WINTER'S HEIR was stubborn to load. Trainer Puller advised to re-school this gelding. NOBLE PEER and MR WINSOME both lost 1 length. MR WINSOME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SAARIKH (ARG) raced green. Due to the performances of JULLIDAR, NOBLE PEER, TOWNSHIP TALK and CAPRIVI, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings and this colt. TEAM GUYS (AUS) was hanging out in the straight and shifted out away from the crop, carrying MR WINSOME outwards. This resulted in TEAM GUYS (AUS) making contact with MR WINSOME at the 150 metre mark, causing MR WINSOME to become unbalanced and roll inwards, and these two runners making contact on two more occasions thereafter. An Inquiry will be held into this incident. Vet: NOBLE PEER, TOWNSHIP TALK and JULLIDAR - nothing obvious detected. CAPRIVI - blowing and near side stirrup rub. Scratched: ROY'S HORSE (AUS) - nail bound. KNOCKOUT JOHNY (AUS) - nasal discharge. GOOD TEAM - foot sore.
