QUANTITY got its right hind leg caught in the gates, was unloaded and checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. FILOLI lost 2 lengths. SECRET SUCCESS lost 3 lengths. DARK ABBOT lost 4 lengths. Trainer Puller to be advised to re-school this gelding. FIRST SEA LORD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. STOKVEL shifted in approaching the 1300 metre mark, carrying FIRST SEA LORD and SHINE UP inwards, resulting in ROY'S BABOON (AUS) becoming cramped and having to ease along the inside running rail. Jockey Nyawo signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended for 7 days for a contravention of in that, as the rider of STOKVEL, he failed to ensure that he did not cause of interference to horses on his inside at approximately the 1300 metre mark. In view of the performance of QUANTITY, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. FEARSOME FRANNA raced wide on the bend and into the straight. Jockey Veale signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that, as the rider of FIRST SEA LORD, he used his crop in an unnecessary manner by hitting this gelding with excessive frequency over the final 300 metres. DARK ABBOT did not race with his tongue tied down. Vet: QUANTITY - nothing obvious detected.
