The start of this Race was delayed due to the withdrawal of POLLY PORCH and RED LUNAR. RED LUNAR reared in the pens and injured itself. Trainer Lensley was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. NATIONAL SYMBOL and CALYPSO were slow into stride. DASHING QUEEN proved reluctant to canter to the start. Trainer Lensley was advised that should DASHING QUEEN behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. RAZZLE MY TAZZLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. NATIONAL SYMBOL raced equipped with a tongue tie. POLLY PORCH raced in Club colours. Scratched: GEMSTONE GLAMOUR - wound right front. RED LUNAR - injured in pens. POLLY PORCH - not striding out right front. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
