FREE AGENT jumped awkwardly inwards squeezing out LET IT RAIN in the process, who lost one length. MEGA SECRET was slow into stride. PURPLE ROCK was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. BROOKLYN BRAWLER was hanging out in the straight. WINTER MARCHEN switched in to continue his run at approximately the 100m and thereafter racing green, shifted away from the crop and brushed LET IT RAIN, who became momentarily unbalanced for a number of strides. In view of the performance of RAVISHING LAD, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding and submit a report. FREE AGENT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. RAVISHING LAD raced fitted with alumites. Vet: RAVISHING LAD - returned not striding out left hind. FLYING KIWI - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. PURPLE ROCK - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
