NETFLIX dislodged Jockey Lerena en route to the start, was taken in hand by Jockey Lerena and led to the start. Thereafter NETFLIX was inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race, which led to this race being delayed. LINEKER (AUS) and FROSTED HONEY were slow into stride. NETFLIX, CHESTNUTS N PEARLS and SWEET HABANERO were stubborn loading. FROSTED HONEY was bumped in the concluding stages by ELUSIVE PROPHECY, which was carried out by SWEET HABANERO, which rolled out. DAWN RAID had to check approaching the 200m off the heels of REDCARPET CAPTAIN, which changed stride and rolled out suddenly. Mr Pettigrew the Trainer of the 4th placed horse, DAWN RAID, lodged an Objection against the 3rd placed horse, REDCARPET CAPTAIN, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. The Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and reviewing the patrol films of the race, was of the opinion that DAWN RAID would not have finished in front of REDCARPET CAPTAIN and therefore overruled the objection and allowed the Judges result to stand. LINEKER (AUS) and CRYSTAL GLAMOUR were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. RARING TO GO raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: SWEET HABANERO - cut into left hind. Scratched: BAYLISIANA - not striding out right front.
