EVENING STORM and MILKEN were nervous in the stalls. STORMING HOME kicked the back gate in the stalls. STORMING HOME raced wide into the home straight and continued on an outwards course towards the outside running rail, carrying ALL ABOUT THE DASH and NETHERBY HALL outwards, who became cramped for galloping room, NETHERBY HALL switched inwards for a clear run and ALL ABOUT THE DASH was cramped for several strides approaching the 300 metre mark. Jockey Ndlovu, the rider of STORMING HOME, signed an Admission of Guilt for the contravention in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ALL ABOUT THE DASH and NETHERBY HALL passing the 350 metre mark. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. DOGMATISM was hanging inwards over the final 300 metres. Jockey Khathi reported that PATAUDI was not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Kennedy reported that he felt something amiss with SMART D'ARGENT in the running and did not persevere with his mount over the final 200 metres. APOC was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Danielson did not want to continue riding as he felt unsafe in the wet conditions, and stated he could not ride to the best of his ability. This is to be investigated further. Jockey Khathi signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for the contravention in that he did not wear a body protector of the type approved by the Chief Executive. Vet: PATAUDI - short left fore. SMART D'ARGENT - bilateral epistaxis, 60 day suspension applies.
