WEALTHY was slow losing two lengths. BORA BORA jumped inwards and carried PATROCLUS inwards. Jockey Cormack reported that BORA BORA did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Dillon was charged with a contravention in that he struck WEALTHY in an unnecessary manner in the latter stages. Jockey Dillon signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. NEBULA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BORA BORA - returned lame on the left fore. Scratched: EARTH FAIR an ROCK LIKE JAGGER - coughing. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for breathalyser tests and the taking of urine samples for analysis.
