ELEPHANT MATRIARCH lost one length. WISHFUL HEART was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FAT CHANCE was hanging out and raced wide on the bend. Apprentice Ngwane appeared before the Board with regard to this and was advised to take stronger measures in future to ensure that his mounts remain competitive during races. Jockey Yeni reported that SUPER GUPPY was changing legs in running. In view of the performance of HAWKSWORTH, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Vet: SUPER GUPPY and HAWKSWORTH - nothing obvious detected. MR PRESIDENT - coughing. Scratched: BERMUDABREEZE - elevated temperature. OUT MY WAY - not striding out right fore and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
