The start of this Race was delayed as a result of VELVET SEASON rearing in the stalls, was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. This gelding thereafter was re-saddled prior to being re-loaded. VELVET SEASON reared in the stalls, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was re-loaded. LEICESTER SQUARE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the Starter's report with regard to VELVET SEASON, this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable with a companion. VELVET SEASON may not be presented for re-passing during this period. JUST DIXIT was hanging out and shifted out from approximately the 300m. SHINE UP took no interest in running. Jockey Mgudlwa, the rider of MYRRH, reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding post race. LEICESTER SQUARE over-raced in the early stages. LEVI raced with a tongue tie. Vet: SHINE UP - nothing obvious detected. MYRRH - lame left fore. Scratched: JACK ROSE and LAMBERTI - transport complications.
