The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. ANGIE THE REBEL, CAYATOO, COUNTESS JEMINA and LAKAHAL lost 1 length. HONEYBUSH TEA was cramped for galloping room in the closing stages. Jockey Khumalo signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention, read with Guideline C on the use of the crop, in that he struck the horse HONEYBUSH TEA more than three times on consecutive strides. COUNTESS JEMINA was bumped out by HONEYBUSH TEA, which jumped out. SEEKING SEATTLE was carried in at the 200m by COUNTESS JEMINA, which was racing green. Apprentice Thackeray, the rider of SEEKING SEATTLE, and Jockey Lerena, the rider of ANGIE THE REBEL, and Jockey Maujean, the rider of FAST AND FIT, reported that their respective mounts did not stride out freely in running. MOVIE AWARD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FAST AND FIT raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: SEEKING SEATTLE - examined post race, no significant findings. ANGIE THE REBEL - not striding out right front. ARRIVE AT FIVE and COUNTESS JEMINA - abnormal respiratory noise. FAST AND FIT - speedy cut left hind.
