CAPTURED WIND was slow into stride. TIGER TERRITORY was baulked for a clear run from the 400m to the finish. When questioned regarding his riding of TIGER TERRITORY, Jockey Mariba explained to the Board that he became cramped for galloping room from the 400m to the finish. He further explained that he was unable to switch out to continue his run in the concluding stages as he would have had to cross the heels of BAD BOY BUDDY BOY and was also aware of VARBRATION positioned on his outside. Mr Mariba's explanation was noted. Jockey Strydom reported that VARBRATION did not stride out freely and made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. CAPTURED WIND and BAD BOY BUDDY BOY were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: VARBRATION - examined post race, no significant findings. Scratched: JADE BAY - off feed.
