The tongue tie on HOIST THE MAST had to be refitted by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start causing a delay. FIVE STAR BANKER jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. TENDER TRIP was reluctant to proceed to the start and a handler had to assist the jockey and lead the filly to the start causing a delay. Trainer Kotzen will be advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in her future engagements she may be suspended. Jockey Mansour reported that GIN FOR GENIUS did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Morgenrood reported that ROYAL SEDUCTION did not stride out freely in running. HOIST THE MAST raced green. COSMIC CHARM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GIN FOR GENIUS - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. ROYAL SEDUCTION - returned not striding out. Scratched: COMTESSA ANTONIA - virus.
