The start of this Race was delayed due to the objections lodged in the previous race. APSLEY broke through the front gate, was restrained by the rider, and returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. BOW 'N ARROW lost 1 length. Jockey Wrogemann, the rider of POST BOX, and Jockey Strydom, the rider of SCARE TACTICS, reported that their respective mounts took no interest in running. MY FAVOURITE BROWN (AUS) was difficult to settle in the early stages. MY FAVOURITE BROWN (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. POST BOX raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: POST BOX - not striding out right front. SCARE TACTICS - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: DOODLE BUG - not striding out right front.
