TRUE GOLD and CALICO were nervous in the stalls. REBEL ANGEL was slow away and lost 2 lengths. Jockey Byleveld reported that he felt something amiss with REBEL ANGEL in the running and did not persevere with his ride in the straight. MARTITA RIDGE shifted both ways away from the crop in the straight. Jockey Gould reported that PINK TICKET was not striding out freely in the running and did not persevere in the latter stages. AL-AMADI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Greeff was questioned regarding the improved performance compared to her last start in race on the 13/11/2015. He explained that this mare was slow away in her previous start and had taken no interest in the running. The Board noted this explanation. Trainer Greeff's attention was drawn to the rules pertaining to in and out running. BADGER'S BELLE raced with alumites in front unshod behind. Vet: PINK TICKET - short right fore.
