Jockey Agrella reported that SEVENTH BROTHER took no interest in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer Laing was requested to monitor this gelding over the next 48 hours and report back any abnormalities. Jockey Yeni reported that LATINO RAMBO was changing stride in the running and was hanging out onto LESSFLASHMORECASH in the latter stages. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine SALSA MUSIC in view of his performance. Jockey Danielson, the rider of THUNDER PUNCH, was brought before the Stipendiary Board and shown the patrol films of the final 100 metres of this race and advised to ride his mount to the finish. He advised the Board that his mount had tired approaching the 200 metre mark. DREAMFOREST was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: LESSFLASHMORECASH - cast left and right hind shoes, lame left hind. SEVENTH BROTHER - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. SALSA MUSIC - speedy cut left hind, abnormal respiratory noise. OCCASIONAL REBEL - abnormal respiratory noise. LATINO RAMBO - lame right fore.
