The start of this Race was delayed due to ELIZA DOOLITTLE proving difficult to load. ELIZA DOOLITTLE was stubborn loading. Trainer Peter was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. DANGEROUS DIVA and JET TRIP were restless in the stalls. NKOMO lost 1 length. Jockey Wrogemann reported that he felt something amiss with RARING TO GO in running. Jockey Strydom reported that STAY AMAZED did not stride out freely in running and did not persevere with his ride from the 1000m. JET TRIP was hanging in from the 400m. PRINCESS PEARL was awkwardly placed leaving the 200m on the heels of SCANDAL, which had to ease off the heels of WET AUTUMN MIST. LEMONADE RIVER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: RARING TO GO - not striding out left front; speedy cut right hind. STAY AMAZED - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
