SPECTRAL (+X Ngcobo) and THE PINES (+V Sithetho) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
THEATRE OF DREAMS (+S Mosia), MISS BONAPARTE (+T Muchansa) and MISS VENEZUELA (+P Mongqawa) were slow losing one length.
Shortly after the start MISS BONAPARTE (+T Muchansa) became unbalanced when bumped in by ASHANTI (+K Fisher) who in turn was bumped in by VARS JY (+J Gwingwizha) which jumped inwards.
In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning THE PINES, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Stable Employee B Kossa advised.
Workrider V Sithetho reported that felt something amiss with THE PINES in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
Workrider J Gwingwizha reported that VARS JY changed stride continuously in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
