GLENTON reared shortly after the start was effected losing five lengths. Trainer Snaith will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. MACDUFF became restless as the start was effected losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer J Ramsden will be advised to have this colt re-schooled before its next engagement. SHEPHERDS PURSE was slow losing two lengths. The Board called for a review of the start regarding MACDUFF and GLENTON. After reviewing the patrol films the Board was of the opinion that no horse had been impeded and therefore declared both horses to be runners. WINTER PRINCE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MACDUFF - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. GLENTON - hit its head at the start, returned fatigued. Scratched: RITMO TOTAL - sold without engagement.
