PERSIAN SILK was slow losing four lengths. Trainer Kotzen will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. PRETTY AND POPULAR jumped awkwardly losing one length. In view of the performance from PRETTY AND POPULAR, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. WIND GODDESS was carried out by PERSIAN SILK, which was hanging out and shifted outwards at the 300m. WIND GODDESS pulled hard and proved difficult to settle in the early stages. CAPTAIN'S COMPANION was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PRETTY AND POPULAR - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. CHARISMA - returned with a mouth injury. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
