DOWNTOWN DANZA pulled its right front shoe en route to the start which had to be attended to by the course Farrier causing a delay to the start of this race. RAIN SHADOW was awkwardly placed between LAUGHISTHEANSWER and EASTER RISING shortly after the start. EASTER RISING was hanging in from the 300m. Apprentice Zackey reported that the saddle on DOWNTOWN DANZA slipped back in running and this gelding did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Sturgeon reported that DOLLAR BILL took no interest in running. IRISH PRIDE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DOLLAR BILL raced equipped with a tongue tie on. Vet: DOLLAR BILL and DOWNTOWN DANZA - examined post race, no significant findings. Scratched: ROCK ON - insufficient recovery time. ASHKENAZI - colic.
