THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start CHOCTAW RIDGE was bumped on two occasions by TOMORROW'S SUMMER which was brushed out by MAGICAL SPRING, which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. At the 200m, HAZEL GREEN was eased and took an awkward stride when close to the heels of MAGICAL SPRING, which hung in, shifted in, and was not corrected timeously. Jockey C F Dicken was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of MAGICAL SPRING, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to HAZEL GREEN at the 200m. Jockey Dicken signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding at one race meeting (Date to be advised). c) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss in the running with TOMORROW'S SUMMER. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. d) Trainer M Dixon was charged with a contravention of contravened Rule 8.3.1., in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse HAPPY HOOVES. Trainer Dixon signed an Admission of Guilt and was issued with a warning. e) DANCING IN DEMARK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Jockey K de Melo (HAPPY HOOVES) raced in the Operators colours.
