The start of the Race was delayed due to the starting stalls having to be positioned on the track and ZAFIRA proving difficult to load. ZAFIRA was stubborn loading. SWEET ON YOU and GRACIE GOLD were slow into stride. AYESSAYPEE was slow, losing 3 lengths. LOVINGKINDNESS was carried in marginally leaving the 300m by KELLIE FIRTH, which shifted in away from the crop. ZAFIRA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
