BRAVE AND BOLD and DREYA'S GOLD both lost 1 length. OBREGA lost 2 lengths. DON'T MENTION IT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Impey was questioned regarding the improved performance of DON'T MENTION IT compared to this mare's previous run on the 4.12.2015. She explained to the Board that the previous race was in far stronger competition than today. She was furthermore of the view that the distance of 1400 metres had also accounted for the poor performance on that occasion. Miss Impey had undertaken to race this mare over similar distances in future and her explanations were noted. STRATEGIC MOVE jumped outwards as the start was effected making contact with LILY GRAY and BRAVE AND BOLD, carrying these fillies outwards. GINGER BISCUIT stumbled leaving the stalls. NOT A WORD jumped with her head in the air. Jockey Kennedy reported that STRATEGIC MOVE was changing legs continuously in running. Jockey Sturgeon reported that LILY GRAY was not striding out freely in running. ISINGAMOYA shifted in away approaching the 100 metre mark from DON'T MENTION IT, who was hanging in. This resulted in PRIVATE DANCER becoming momentarily inconvenienced on the inside running rail. The Medical Officer reported that Jockey de Melo was suffering from dehydration and stood down. Vet: LILY GRAY, NOT A WORD and STRATEGIC MOVE - nothing obvious detected.
