SECRET GARDEN was stubborn to load. Trainer Dittmer was advised to re-school this filly. JULIE'S GIRL lost one length. JUDS EXPRESS was slow into stride. CHERRY ORCHARD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the performance of RITZ 'N FAMOUS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey Kennedy reported that HANSA THE ANSA took no interest in running. Jockey Mgudlwa reported that ICED GEM making an abnormal respiratory noise post race. APOSTLE ADVANCING raced without a tongue tie. Vet: RITZ 'N FAMOUS and ICED GEM - nothing obvious detected. HANSA THE ANSA - not striding out left hind and coughing. Scratched: GOLDEN EARINGS - elevated temperature. COUNT YOUR LUCK - retired. ROY'S MONKEY - change of venue. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
